to become the leading stock exchange between Western
Europe and East Asia.
The trading hours of the DIFX are from 11:45am

The DIFX intends to become the platform of choice
in its region for a range of:
- Equities

The
Dubai Financial Exchange has high standards and
would like to help People and Companies make investment
decisions based on a clear, objective view about
each Partner. This is achieved by a regulatory
framework that conforms to international standards
of good governance. One such principle is that
price sensitive information must be released to
the market simultaneously. This ensures all investors
are treated as part of a level playing field.
The majority shareholder of the DIFX is Borse Dubai with a two-thirds stake. NASDAQ OMX Group owns one third of the shares. The DIFX is located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a financial free zone which opened in 2004.
The President of the DIFC is His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
The DIFC is the world's fastest growing international financial centre. It aims to develop the same stature as New York, London and Hong Kong.
